Club Run Tuesday 4th September – Updated Start Time

Tomorrow evening sees the final EA Club Run session with coach Bryan Clinton giving some final tips and no doubt a challenging but enjoyable training session! Sincerest apologies for the late notice but in consultation with Bryan, due to it getting darker sooner, we’ve decided to start a little earlier at 6:45pm instead of 7pm (meet from 6:30pm for announcements). It’s only 15 minutes but this will allow us a bit more valuable time as the lighting around the park is scarce and it won’t be dark enough for head torches to be of any real use. I hope this doesn’t inconvenience too many of you as this would be when we’d normally congregate in preparation for announcements. Don’t worry if you’re going to be a few minutes late, but please try to be as close to 6:45pm as possible! If you have any concerns please drop me a line to secretary@corshamrunningclub.co.uk.

As a reminder, this Club Run session replaces the group sessions for A, B and C. Three Mile Group will run as usual.

Hope to see many of you tomorrow evening.

Club Run – Final Session

This coming Tuesday 4th September sees the last of our 3 sessions from the EA Club Run initiative and coach Bryan Clinton. These sessions have been incredibly well received by those members that have attended them, seeing them push themselves and further their confidence in their running.

If you haven’t been to one of the previous sessions, don’t worry, just come along Tuesday and see what Bryan has in store for us. The session will again take place on the Springfield Park and running track although we need to be mindful of the fading light in the evening now as there is limited lighting.

We hope to see many of you there!

Please note, there will be no normal group A, B or C sessions this evening. The exception is the 3 Mile Group which will run as usual.

About Springboard:

Springboard is a pre school for children with additional health or learning needs based in Chippenham, and looks after children and their families across North Wiltshire.

Rosie’s Rainbow Run and Ride is being organised in memory of former pupil Rosie. Sadly, Rosie died in October 2017 just after her 4th birthday. She attended Springboard, for the majority of her life. Rosie held a huge place in the hearts of everyone at Springboard and they would like to remember and celebrate her life, whilst raising funds for Springboard to enable them to support other children like Rosie and their families.
