Weekend Long Runs

Whilst our regular weekday sessions mix tempo and speed work with steady runs, they tend to cover shorter distances up to 5 or 6 miles to fit in our hour time-slot. There are always a few members that are building up to running longer distances be it half marathon or even marathon or ultra distances. So if you would like some company on your training runs or would like to help and support others achieve their training goals please feel free to organise and advertise your runs using the Facebook Group. Make sure you mention the expected speed/pace of the run so that people are clear what the expectation is of the run and whether it will be suitable for them. In addition, if you would like to promote your planned run on a club night during announcements then please speak to the person announcing on the night and they will include it for you.
