After the half marathons of last week, our members have mixed it up a bit this week.
We had 4 members at the Purbeck Running Festival with Richard Biggs, Dave Mackie and Susan Mackie doing the marathon distance and Debra Kearsey doing the 16 mile option.
After a years absence, the Foxtrot 5 returned to the race calendar. A 5 mile run starting and finishing in Broughton Gifford that we do for our For Fox Sake summer away run. Representing Corsham were Max and Michael Luff and John Voyez.
Andrew Wood has done his last big race of the summer. He did the Ring of Steall Skyrace. A near 18 mile race in the same mountainous area as Ben Nevis which took 7 hours as it had roughly 8,000 feet of climbing.
Renata McGrath did the 10K Portishead Coast Path and set a PB.
AND GOT A COOKIE FOR A MEDAL!
And finally Lucy Bright did the Midsomer Norton Sprint Triathlon, a 400 metre swim, a 21km cycle and a 5km run.
