New year, New Challenges.
2018 finished with Laura Di Pisa running the Rome 10K, an excellent way to spend New Years Eve.
Steve Hible and his son John also went abroad on New Years Eve, travelling to Wales for the Wye Wander, where John won his age category and Steve made good use of his new CRC jacket.
And now it’s 2019 and it’s a time for taking on a new challenges. Andrew Wood also travelled to Wales to do the Blade Runner Ultra. A 50k taking in some of the biggest mountain peaks in southern Wales such as Pen Y Fan and Fan Y Big.
Dave Townsend’s new challenge was to do his first race in his CRC vest, the Kelston 10K, which was in England.
It will be exciting to see what new challenges our members take on this year, whether it’s a longer distance, faster times, tougher courses or just running consistently.
