The Club Championship table has been updated following the Wiltshire 10  – TABLE

In the ladies championship Lauren Edwards has moved into the lead with 39 points, Debbie Kearsey and Jo Motto are 2nd and 3rd on 20 and 19 points.

In the mens championship, it’s already looking like a procession for Pete Allen as he has got maximum points from the first 2 races. However Jon Morrell (37 points) and Craig Rumble (35 points) will be pushing him all the way and are ready to pounce if Pete has to miss races again this year.

Our next championship race is Smartt Smasher which takes place next Sunday at 11am in Calne.

The early lead in the ladies has gone to Debra Kearsey with Lauren Edwards and Rachel Cannon in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Pete Allen is leading the men with Lee Davis and Jon Morrell in 2nd and 3rd. Lee, Jon and Craig were all very close to Pete on age grading so hopefully we’re in for quite a battle in 2017.

The next club championship race is the Wiltshire 10 on Sunday 12th February

Unfortunately one of our scheduled Club Championship races, the Devizes 10K, has been cancelled for 2017.

Luckily we have found an alternative chip-timed 10K on the same day (March 19th). The Calne Rotary 10km Charity Fun Run takes place in the grounds of Bowood House and is run on mixture of tarmac, trail and grass. Please note that there are two entry types available, one with a medal and t-shirt and one without either so you have some flexibility on keeping the price low if you so wish.
