It’s the calm before the storm.
We had 15 runners at the Good Friday 10 miler in Chippenham on a glorious day for running. Some smashing results led home by Tom Frost in 1:04:24. There were PBs for Lois Norcott (1:33:59), Katharine Burrett (1:35:44) and Lauren Edwards (1:18:16).
But most importantly, there were Easter Eggs for all.
Annika Davidson completed the Helmsley 10K in 50:47, another one of those races with a mug in the goody bag.
Of course, next Sunday sees the Corsham 10K and 2K fun run. Good luck to all of those running it. We’re looking forward to welcoming all the runners and an army of volunteers. It’s never too late to volunteer.
And details have been released of our new beginners running course, we’ve had many successful courses over the last couple of years and many of those members are still with us and still improving.
It’s a fun friendly course to take you from couch to 5K in a group environment and with much encouragement along the way. If you’re interested or know someone who may be then get in contact. Details on the poster.
