Weekly Review – Week Ending 9th December

It won’t be long until Santa is here but first off he has to do a world tour.

Saturday, he was in Calne for the Santa Scamper where everyone was dressed like Santa including Daniel Parker and Annika Davidson.

And on Sunday, he’d obviously realised that it was difficult to run in the full kit so everyone at the Christmas Cracker, including Richard Biggs just sported the hat.

And on a more serious note Dave Mackie and Chris Hunt took the short journey to Bath University for the Tri-county Cross Country Championships. 10K of mud.

As well as running on Saturday, Daniel Parker helped Marshall at the 3K Xmas Fun Run in Westbury.

This seems like a perfect opportunity to remind our members to make sure their calendars are clear for the morning of Sunday 28th April. It’s the Corsham 10K and it only runs so successfully because of our members (and some other groups from Corsham) coming together to make it successful. I’m sure Oscar Stringer, the new race director will be looking for volunteers in the New Year.
