Weekly Review- Week Ending 19th August

Hurrah! After a couple of quiet weeks we’ve been far more active this week.

Mark Cortaville got us kicked off by doing the third Heddington 5k of the summer on Tuesday. All 3 of his times were around the 20:30 area. Fantastic consistency.

We then had 14 members at the Hilly Helmet Challenge on Wednesday. A 4ish mile run in aid of Brain Tumour Support where club colours are discouraged but wearing a helmet is mandatory. They range from bicycle helmets to full on spartan helmets and everything inbetween.

On Thursday we went for a new away run, trying out the Hazelbury Hurrah! course. All agreed it was a brilliant course and we’re nearly sold out so if you’ve been considering it then you’d better sign up soon. Or Dave could always use more volunteers.

At the weekend we had 5 runners racing at the Hullavington 10k.

And finally Rachel Lightfoot’s children enjoyed the Colour Run in Bath. Always good to see the future generations of CRC getting started.
