The Club’s For Fox Sake outing from Broughton Gifford Village Hall is held annually to celebrate and remember the life of Club stalwart Tom Fox.
We invite other local running clubs to join us, and refreshment, in the form of cake and Prosecco, will be on offer after the run too. The fizz will be courtesy of Corsham Running Club; for cakes however we will be reliant on your legendary baking skills and your donations on the night will be most gratefully received. Please bring any food donations to the village hall prior to the run. This year the event will also be raising funds for the British Heart Foundation.
Parking at the village hall is very limited. Please car share if at all possible, and leave plenty of time to park on road sides locally and walk / run to be at the village hall by 6:45pm; with our guests we anticipate having over a hundred runners to brief and organise into groups before we head out for our run.
Routes (6.4 miles road, 5.5 miles road and track, and 3.5 miles mainly off-road) to suit all abilities will be on offer as normal, and they all pass by the beautiful Elizabethan manor at Great Chalfield; route maps are at the links below.
