As we aim to cater for all abilities, there are usually four independent sessions run. Groups A, B and C and 3 Mile Group. For full details please view the Training Groups, Sessions and Leaders section.
In summer, given the longer hours of daylight, we choose to run as much off-road as possible. We have a variety of splendid local routes from which we can choose and this is usually decided on the night. Approximately twice a month throughout the summer we visit other local venues from which to run. Full details of the routes for these away runs can be found on our away runs page. The dates for forthcoming away runs can be found within our event calendar and will be communicated to members via e-mail in advance.
Please Note: when an away run is planned, there will be no official runs from our usual venue
In winter, we have a selection of planned, well-lit routes to run. As running off-road is not possible we vary the sessions as much as we can with a mix of different Tempo/Interval sessions and Hill Repetitions and the odd steady run.
