Corsham Running Club, in its 25th anniversary year, is absolutely delighted to confirm the sixth running of the Hazelbury Hurrah! event on Friday 12th July 2024. For race information scroll down this page.

Proceeds from last year’s Hazelbury Hurrah! raised over £2500 for Corsham Running Club, Corsham Churches Food Bank, SSAFA – the Armed Forces charity and Cotswold Voluntary Wardens. With your support, we are seeking to raise even more this year.
Hazelbury Hurrah! will continue to avoid & remove all single-use plastics from the event’s operations & activities, replacing them with sustainable alternatives where we can.

Main Race Information
- Location: Leafy Lane Playing Fields, Corsham, SN13 0JT
- Date: Friday 12th July 2024
- Time: 7:15pm
- Price: £18 affiliated / £20 unaffiliated (including entry system admin fee)
- Trail Running Association licensed (Permit Number 6409) & UK Athletics insured
- Prizes: Female & male 1st, 2nd & 3rd place; female and male first V40, V50, V60 and V70; Team prize with first 2 females and first 2 males from the same team/club to count; Please note there will only be one individual prize per person – in the event of one person being eligible for more than one prize then the highest overall value prize will be awarded
- Pie and beer for all finishers (or non-alcoholic/vegan alternative)
- Course records: Male Sam Pictor 33:47; Female Zoe Sheffield 41:48
- Ages: 15+
- Route: Please see the Route section below. An intricate and varied off-road route, taking in 6 miles of occasionally hilly and technical terrain around Hazelbury Manor and Box valley. Includes a few sections on quiet roads. Check out the route on Strava

Junior Race Information
- Location: Leafy Lane Playing Fields, Corsham, SN13 0JT
- Date: Friday 12th July 2024
- Time: 6:30pm
- Price: £7 (including entry system admin fee)
- Trail Running Association licensed (Permit Number 6409) & UK Athletics insured
- Medal, drink and snack for all finishers
- Prizes: There will be awards for the first female & male in each of the following age categories; under 9, under 11, under 13, under 15 and under 17
- Ages: All runners must be aged between 7 and 17 as at 31/3/2024
- Route: 2KM, off road, flat, through the field and adjacent woods
- Places: 125 entries
- Supervision: Runners must run unaccompanied. We have a robust marshalling system that ensures line of sight supervision of all junior race entrants for safety and security
- The Junior Race route runs in part along the lovely paths of Leafy Lane Natural Burial Woods. A short section of the route passes close by the wood’s natural burial ground. It is discrete but visible from the path and we want to make you aware of this prior to entry

The revised route for the main race used in 2022 and 2023 is shown on the maps below (click to view a bigger image) and will be followed again in 2024. A gpx file is also available to download.
