The cold and rain don’t stop CRC as we had a busy weekend of club championship races and socialising.
We had our 3rd and final Parkrun club championship event at Chippenham on Saturday morning. James Lye led the Corsham contingent home with a PB and everyone finished in under 30 minutes.
Sunday morning was chilly but luckily a cooked breakfast was waiting on return to the Quarryman’s Arms after a 5-6 mile trail run enjoyed by many of our members.
Sunday morning also saw our final club championship event of 2018 and what a way to end it at the Westonbirt House Christmas 10K. There were PBs for Marie Vinolo-Young, Lucy Bright (breaking 50 minutes for the first time) and Lois Norcott.
Marie was also the 3rd lady overall, Chris Hunt came 3rd supervet and our ladies team (also including Caroline Cozier and Katharine Burrett) were the 3rd ladies team. Congratulations all.
