Weekly Review – Week Ending 28th October

Its been a quiet week here at Corsham Running Club but we had a few racers.

Richard Biggs and Annika Davidson ran the Dorset 3 Peaks Stickler. It looked a cold one.

Congratulations to Chris Hutton who ran 18 miles at the 15 mile Exmoor Trail Fell race and still came second as the while field got lost. Andrew Wood also ran it and managed 16.5 miles, a proper value for money event

Kathryn Roynon braved the cold and rain and snow and sleet (IN OCTOBER!) at Durham parkrun but managed a PB.

And our latest Full Moon run was well attended at Bradford-on-Avon including by the full moon. We ran the 7 mile over the hills route and retired to the 3 horseshoes for a drink afterwards and to get warm.

All this talk of cold, wet weather seems like the perfect time to remind everyone to keep an eye out as we will hopefully have CRC branded hoodies (£21) and softshell jackets (£32) soon, perfect for those winter days.

If you’d like to write a report on a race you’ve done recently for the website and newsletter then please do and send it to news@corshamrunningclub.co.uk
